Lynne Lynne here :) I have a new nickname thanks to Kathy. I just want to say that its hot as Haiti down here hahah. If you are wondering about my scabs from my recent extreme biking accident they are almost completly gone. At first the ones on my shoulder started peeling off and then came the ones on my hands and today the one below my elbow came off in the ocean haha it was gross. I'm having an amazing experience soaking in the culture and nature of this country. I love it here. Tomorrow I get the chance to go with another team that we are staying with at the house to a medical clinic. Im so thrilled at this oppurtunity because I will be studying to be a nurse and I'm sure I will learn so much. I feel like this is totally Gods plan for me to go with them so I can get a taste of what he has possibly called me to do. So pray for me and for Gods will for the rest of the trip. I miss you all and love you :) beijoooo btw i saw some Brazillians and talked to them in Portuguese! haha i would. I love you mom and family and friends.

I had no idea that you were going into nursing, but it sounds like it will be a wonderful day for you tomorrow traveling to the clinic. Can't wait to here how it went when you return. Stay safe and take this whole experience in. We love you and continue to pray for you daily.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear about everything that's goin on down there. I was just saying how i wish you guys would update more and then we get three in a row so thank you very much. I pray that God continues to use you and everyone else and that all of you experience so much of god's power and glory down in haiti. Everyone back here is praying for you to do great things and for you to come home safe. We all love you and we hope your experience down there is life changing.

Hey "Lynne Lynne"! It's Mom! I was so excited to read your post! I'm glad that you've healed; I've been wondering how you're keeping those wounds clean! It's great that you're going to a medical clinic! I can't wait to hear all about it!!! Katelyn, I'm so proud of you and excited for everything that God is doing in your life. ReplyDeleteohhhhhh yea, thats my sista kash making me proud in every possible way. being tough abt the hurt shoulders and arms and everything and doing great things in haiti, and helping out, and making a decision about the career, and, most important of all, SPEAKING PORTUGUESE!! oh boy could i be any more proud ? haha. im so so happy youre having this amazing oportunity, and seeing God in everytihng that you do and that He does, and so exicted that youre learning so much and growing closer and closer to Him. what an extraordinary experience! be safe, have fun, do awesome things and then come see me and show pictures and tell me all abt haiti. i love youuuuu and miss you SO MUCH!!!!!!
